Canadian-born London designer Edeline Lee never fails to disappoint with her immersive, theatrical shows at London Fashion Week. Her designs, all made in England, have gained a legion of admirers since launching in 2014, including famous clients like Olivia Colman, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Alicia Vikander and Solange Knowles. The designer’s spring/summer 2021 presentation and film at London Fashion Week was shown in spectacular style at a grand 18th-century mansion that houses Modernity, a Swedish furniture showroom. Her designs suit all body types with their structured, feminine shapes and clean modern lines. Some of the colorful new looks on show were in her signature fabrics that are wrinkle resistant, ideal for travelling.
A film running alongside the Edeline Lee’s live models was a tribute to all of us in our recent lockdown. It featured a woman wearing the new looks, moving around one room doing everything we’ve been doing in the last few months: dancing, reading, sleeping, arranging flowers and eating cake.
To the best team in the world:
Dear Andrew, Evelina and Jess,
I hope you are well. I want to thank you formally for collaborating with me for Spring Summer 2021. We had to defy the odds, but did a great job, and I am so pleased and excited by what we managed to create! I think we went above and beyond what many designers managed to produce this season. The press response has been fabulous – please see links below!
With much love and appreciation,
Edeline Lee
