British Fashion Awards

On Monday 29 Nov, our session team Maria, Evelina and Natasha were asked to create the hairstyles for Nina Kraviz, Greta Ferro and Solange Smith with Greta achiving best dressed celeb of the night.

The awards, this year will raise funds for the British Fashion Council Foundation. This is a charity which supports the future growth and success of the British fashion industry by focusing on talent, education, grant-giving and business mentoring.

From Dua Lipa to DJ Nina Kraviz and Lilly Alen, from Adriana Lima to Lila Moss, from Demi Moore to Greta Ferro, they were just some of the stars that walked the 2021 British Fashion Awards red carpet. Hosted at London’s Royal Albert Hall. It was great to play our part.

The British Fashion Council is now recognizing fashion in a virtual reality (aka Metaverse) announcing a new category – Fashion Award for Metaverse design. The award recognises a digital designer who pushes the boundaries and showcases the excellence in digital fashion within Metaverse.

The first recepient of this award comes from the digital Roblox community.

The Team:

Our team is expanding and we are always happy to welcome inspired and skilled Hairdressers. Nic Davis is not only a long time friend of the salon but a name with 30 years of experience in cutting and finishing hair. His specialties include short haircuts, curly hair, hair problems and precision cutting. Simplicity remastered!

Maria Kovacs is an excellent adition – her fresh approach to cutting and styling and her endless creativity makes a perfect fit to our central London salon. Maria is our session team’s coach for the last 5 years and now she made our salon her base when she’s off set.

Salon:

You can now request a vegan colours for your colour service appointments. As well as being vegan certified these products are also packed in a completely compostable packaging material. We understand the importance of keeping the balance in our enviromental system and we strive to work within a healthy mindset. At the moment we hold a silver recycling award for trying to achieve a zero landfill salon waste.

You will also be able to prebook your home hair care collection very soon. Until then we invite you for a 20 minutes consultation on your hair needs, completely free of charge. Simply, book yourself in HERE and get your hair prescribed by any of our hair specialists.

Working Hours over Christmas holidays:

We are opened until 9pm three days a week on a working days but over Christmas working hours will be slightly reduced:

December 24th: 9am – 5pm

December 25th & 26th: Closed

December 27th & 28th: 9am – 5pm

On December 29, 30 and 31st we will be expecting you for your last touch ups so that you can step up ready into the new 2022. We still have got some availability before Christmas and good availability between Christmas and new year.

COVID-19 measures:

We’ll continue to make sure our salon follows government guidelines with regards to COVID-19. As of Tuesday 30th November, the use of face coverings is now mandatory within our salon for staff and customers. We would like to thank all of our clients and staff alike for being so understanding with the ongoing salon precautions.

We are still capping the number of the clients in the salon.  We encourage online booking to ensure your place. 

We also ask that you do your part as well:  keep your hands sanitized, keep your mask on unless asked to remove it and as courtesy to salon’s staff and clients we ask that if you’re feeling unwell or showing any flu-like symptoms in particular that you stay at home and follow the government guidelines. We are happy to reschedule all the appointments that can not be made due to illness.

We will continue to be diligent about hygiene standards at the salon
